Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your use of Ledgerhome ("the Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Availability

Ledgerhome is currently available to residents of the United States and Canada. We may expand to other countries in the future; if we do, we'll update these terms accordingly.

Accounts

You need an account to use the Service, created with an email and password or by signing in with Google. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information about yourself and your home when using the Service — cost estimates are only as reliable as the details you give them.

Free and Premium plans

The Free plan is limited to one home profile and three saved cost estimates. Premium removes those limits and adds maintenance reminders, for $19/month, billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled.

You can cancel anytime from the Billing page in your dashboard, which opens Stripe's billing portal — you'll keep Premium access through the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't store your card details ourselves; Stripe handles and secures all payment information directly.

Acceptable use

Use the Service for planning your own home projects. Don't misuse it — that includes attempting to disrupt or overload it, scraping or automating access outside of what the product provides, reselling or redistributing its output as a certified or binding quote, or using it to plan work on a property you don't own or have authorization to modify.

Estimates and other output

Cost estimates, maintenance schedules, and any other output the Service produces are indicative planning aids, not contractor quotes or guarantees. See our Disclaimer for the full detail on how to treat that output before making any purchasing or contracting decision.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, belongs to Ledgerhome. Your home data and the estimates generated from it are yours — we don't claim ownership over the content of your account.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to accounts that violate these terms or misuse the Service, with notice where practical.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
